Surprisingly little happened in this second last episode of Psycho-Pass, it’s a shame because a wrench really should have been thrown into the plot.

Deviating from the usual pattern this week’s episode was less about being human than it was about, heroism and the slow pathetic death of a monster at the hands of a mere human.
Psycho-Pass 2 – Episodes 7 – 8
In a lot of ways these two episodes mark an important turning point in the story of Psycho-Pass. Almost all the big questions have been explained, and now it’s just a matter of how the conflict will be resolved. Unfortunately they writers gave us the most boring and predictable answers to all those questions.
Parasyte the maxim – Episodes 4 – 9
Parasyte is about one thing, what it means to be human. Shinichi has been struggling with his humanity ever since his hand was invaded by a parasite, but it reaches a boiling point in these episodes.
Psycho-Pass 2 – Episodes 4 – 6
I’ve been having trouble writing about these past few episodes, this is because they have strained my suspension of disbelief. As a result I’ve had a harder time getting emotionally invested in the story and I’ve found the action plot laughable.

This week’s episode of Parasyte did a good job of adding more intrigue to the plot while simultaneously addressing some of my criticisms.
