Weekly Updates #13 – September 30, 2014 – SUMMER WRAP-UP & FINAL IMPRESSIONS

This weeks concludes the Summer season as well as the first cour of Voice of the North!

Though it’s been rough around the edges we’ve managed to pull through. I would like to thank our esteemed writers for their commitment over the last four months. Of course, we couldn’t have done it without motivation from our regular readers, thankyou all for sticking with us.

As far as blog-related stuff goes, over the course of our first run Stingrui and Who Me? have been giving me feedback on how to run the site better. There are two main items:

  1. Authors now have the choice to write less than one post per show per week should it become ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. This mainly is meant to stop meaningless work going into posts where the actual show has ZERO substantive content (GLASSLIP being the extreme, extreme example). This isn’t meant to be a way out of blogging every week for writers. If I do find that that does become the case this rule will be revoked. Writers must mention in the weekly that they are indeed doing this, and there must be at least a post once every two weeks.
  2. Weekly posts, specifically the show impressions section will be grouped by show instead of writer. This is to facilitate better contrast between writers and let the people who just want to see one show find it easily.

As some of you have already noticed I (PhertK) have only specified one replacement show for the Winter. Unfortunately I’m a bit overworked right now and as such can’t make my previous level of commitments (especially given how much additional anime I watch anyways).
